The Glory of Easter

The First Baptist Church of Branch is excited to present The Glory of Easter. The program will be presented three times – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening at 7 pm. The Glory of Easter is completely free and the entire family is invited. A nursery will be provided.
The Glory of Easter is a dramatic and moving portrayal of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The powerful story is told through the eyes of the disciples who followed Jesus. Join us as we present this original presentation of Christ’s life, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection.
The music includes powerful songs such as Build My Life, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross, Mercy Tree as well as the powerful worship anthem, What a Beautiful Name.
The choir and drama cast have been preparing for the past two months and are excited to share the powerful message of God’s love with everyone. This has become an Easter tradition for many across the entire area since 1993. All ages are invited although the crucifixion scene may be very intense for younger viewers.
One of the focal points of our program is the cross of Jesus. We are grateful to our Lord for His love for each of us that led Him to lay down His life for us. Would you like to know more about how to have peace with God? Click here.
The Glory of Easter is a labor of love for our entire church family. We welcome you to share three special services with us on Easter weekend.
Join us on Easter Sunday morning for a celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. We begin at 11:00 am and we would love to have your family join us. We will have Joy Kids Preschool Children’s Church for the little ones and we would love to have your entire family worship with us this Easter!
