FALL REVIVAL COMING TO BRANCH

Ronnie Tullos - Ministering the Word of God in the inner city of Memphis since 1987

with Evangelist
Ronnie Tullos

October 23-26

Sunday – Wednesday

Service times are:

Sunday – 11:00 am and 6:30 pm

Monday – Wednesday – 6:30 pm

Ronnie Tullos will preach for us during the week of revival. Bro. Ronnie is no stranger to First Baptist Church of Branch. He has preached for us on numerous occasions and we have ministered beside him in Memphis over the years.

A Louisiana native, Bro. Ronnie was born again in 1981. His testimony is powerful and his love for Christ is inspiring. Since 1987 the RTEA has seen over 54,500 people ask Jesus to save them.  All glory goes to Jesus Christ!  Combining Evangelistic trips overseas and at home, with revivals, crusades and street ministry, God has evidenced a call to evangelism in Ronnie’s life.  After 36 years of trying to be faithful to the call of “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,” Brother Ronnie continues to preach, teach, mentor, and pastor as God gives him grace and strength.

Bro. Ronnie is married to Susan and they have three children, Sean (who is in heaven), Luke, and Sarah. The Tullos grandchildren are the joy of Bro. Ronnie and Susan’s lives.

Tom McCone - Minister of music at FBC Greenwood since 2005

Tom McCone to lead revival worship

Tom McCone will lead worship during our revival services and we are so excited to have him. Bro. Tom has led worship at First Baptist Church in Greenwood since 2005 and has developed a great music ministry. He will be bringing members of his praise team as well as musicians to help in each service.

Joy-filled worship is a great passion of Tom’s. He believes that leading people to encounter God through praise and adoration is a great honor and a privilege, and that in doing so believers are encouraged and the lost are presented with the gospel. Style isn’t an issue with his ministry through music, however, authentic expressions of worship are.

Tom and his wife, Jan, have two daughters, Cara and Alisha.

God Uses Revivals!

"God used a revival to change my life"

By Pastor Tim Hobbs

In the spring of 1982 I was 19 years old and just learning that I didn’t have it all figured out. God was using some hard realities in my life (loneliness, confusion, fear, guilt, loss of friends) to speak to me about where I was headed.

About that time my sister invited me to a revival at Cedarville Baptist Church. To be honest I only went to get my sister off my back. If anyone asked I claimed to be a Christian. In my heart I knew I was lost.

I liked the evangelist. His name was Rex Easterling and he was a loud, fun-loving guy that filled up a room. I went to three different services that week and on the last one, Bro. Rex preached right to me! He pointed his finger right at me (I thought) and asked the pointed question, “Are you going to let your pride send you to hell?”

That question hit me like a bucket of cold water. I was too proud to walk down that aisle and admit that I needed Christ. But God used that sermon to touch my heart and the following Sunday I prayed to receive Christ. I am so thankful that God changed my life on April 18, 1982!

Are you ready for God to work in your life? Join us this week and ask Him to speak to your heart. He is able to change your life.

Seeking God's Heart in Troubled Times

As our entire nation is in turmoil with political scandal, racial division, drug epidemics, and a continued breakdown of marriage and the family we are asking God to give us a week of REVIVAL. Specifically we are asking God to allow us as His people to seek His heart and to know Him better than we ever have before.

We believe that the key to revival and restoration in our nation is not in the White House or in the national media or the entertainment industry – it is in the churches of Jesus Christ throughout our nation.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14, AV)

Join us for this special week of services as we seek God’s heart for each of us!

A Revival For the Whole Family

We are so excited to invite you and your family to join us for each and every service. We believe that God is able to speak to every generation. We are thankful for a very active children’s ministry, a growing youth ministry and for some wonderful young adults in our church. From toddlers to senior adults we are blessed with a wonderful blending of generations.

We invite you to come and experience God’s presence for yourself during this week. A nursery will be available in each service.
