Glory Revisited!

Thank you so much for the great response to this year’s Glory of Easter! We had one saved and at least nine rededications. We had great crowds each night and God really worked! We had numerous requests for prayer and we will be praying over those and asking God to work. Thank you to our church family for all your hard work and to our guests, THANK YOU! If you do not have a church home we would love for you to make FBC Branch your home. Here are some comments received from this year’s program:

“Thank you so much for this tonight! I know God loved it.”

“As always, I was very blessed by ‘The Glory of Easter!’ I am thankful for this church and its people. This was the best yet!”

“I wish the people who are most dear to my heart… could have seen this beautiful portrayal of the most important thing, story, event ever.”

“I thought the play was an amazing thing. It really touched me.”

“Wonderful service tonight. Thanks for all your hard work on spreading the Gospel of Christ. Everyone was fantastic.”

That is a small sampling of the comments received. We give God ALL the glory. He alone is worthy of our praise. Praise Him!

The Glory of Easter

March 25, 26, and 27, 7:00 pm

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

The First Baptist Church of Branch is excited to present The Glory of Easter. The program will be presented three times – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening at 7 pm. The Glory of Easter is completely free and the entire family is invited. A nursery will be provided.

The Glory of Easter is a dramatic and moving portrayal of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The powerful story is told through the eyes of Mary, mother of Jesus. An additional element is the story of the thieves who were crucified with Jesus.

The music includes powerful songs from the musical, The Story, like Who But You, Be Born in Me, and The Great Day. The Twila Paris classic, How Beautiful, is included as well as the powerful worship song, Cornerstone. Perhaps the musical highlight is How Love Wins, sung by the thief who turns to Christ while on the cross.

The choir and drama cast have been preparing for the past two months and are excited to share the powerful message of God’s love with everyone. This has become an Easter tradition for many across the entire area for the past 23 years. All ages are invited although the crucifixion scene is very intense for younger viewers.

One of the focal points of our program is the cross of Jesus. We are grateful to our Lord for His love for each of us that led Him to lay down His life for us. Would you like to know more about how to have peace with God? Click here.

The Glory of Easter is a labor of love for our entire church family. We welcome you to share three special services with us on Easter weekend.

Join us on Easter Sunday morning for a celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. We begin at 11:00 am and we would love to have your family join us. We will have Joy Kids Preschool Children’s Church for the little ones and we would love to have your entire family worship with us this Easter!
